The free weekend begins at 20:00 CEST on July 26 and ends on July 31. at 08:59 CEST. Meanwhile, anyone with a Windows PC can download and play Overwatch for free. You will not need special keys or activation codes; just make sure you have a Blizzard account and the Battle.net client installed on your machine.

Once Overwatch is installed, you'll be able to jump into Quick Play, Custom Games and Overwatch Arcade, and play 18 cards. It's the complete experience of Overwatch, with a winning experience, an upgrade and the opening of loot boxes. Any progress you make and any loot you earn during the free weekend will be permanent if you decide to buy the game, as long as you use the same Blizzard account.
It's also a good weekend. The new Overwatch hero, Wrecking Ball, will be released from the Public Test Realm and will join the servers on July 24, which means even longtime players will be able to play with the little destructive hamster.
