League 1

Result: Paris Saint-Germain 2-1 Lille

Date: November 02, 2018

Place: Princes Park

Paris Saint-Germain scored 12 wins in 12 Ligue 1 games after goals from Kylian Mbappe and Neymar secured a 2-1 win over Lille on Friday night.

Lille took a promising start by creating the first chance with a shot down Xeka, but Gianluigi Baffon has resisted well.

PSG quickly emerged and managed to find its first breakthrough when Neymar combined Kylian Mbappe on the edge of the box before the former player hit the net.

After a good pbad from Neymar to Angel Di Maria, the latter had not found the breakthrough point blank with only the goalkeeper to beat, before Marquinhos misses an open goal after missing the goal at close range.

It is a stimulus that has not diminished until half-time, the interval ending in a blank goal.

In the second half, the PSG's upward game on all sides of the pitch became more and more important in the initial exchanges.

With Lille in the mix, even if it is only very little, the PSG remained in charge and quickly took the lead after a good game in team.

Just 20 minutes from the end, Mbappe managed to come out of the stalemate after finishing close for his 11th league goal this season.

The World Cup star nearly managed to qualify for both goals, but Mike Maignan, who kept the goalkeeper solid, prevented him from scoring.

Brazilian superstar Neymar completed the victory with the second minute of the end to maintain his perfect start.

This was not the case before Nicolas Pepe obtained consolation for visitors after the penalty spot, in extra time, to complete the match.

PSG remains the only one of the five best European leagues to record a perfect record this season, with 12 wins in 12 wins.
