A teenager died after his car crashed into a tree in the northern suburbs of Adelaide.
Police and emergency services were called at the intersection of Montague Road and Muriel Drive in Pooraka shortly after 3 pm Tuesday, when the car left the road and struck a tree.
The 19-year-old driver and sole occupant of Pooraka died on the scene.
The main accident investigators go to the scene.
Drivers driving in the area are advised to avoid this area.
Traffic restrictions are in place near the site of the accident.
The death of the man brings the state road record to 70, against 89 for the same period last year.
