Roxy Jacenko revealed that she had hidden $ 500 in cash from her husband Oliver Curtis before he's taken to jail.

Aged 38, he told Nova FM's S Fitzy and Wippa that she wanted to make sure that he was comfortable when he arrived.

"You have to do what you have to do," she told the radio presenters, remembering the day Curtis, 32, began her sentence in 2016.

"One of my friends actually said that having money in prison when you get there is very beneficial," Jacenko said. "So, I may have put a couple of $ 100 [notes], well sewn, in the lining of his jacket. "

She revealed that the exact figure was $ 500 and that it was for "redemptions" in prison.

"It's for a doona, it's for food." For him, he likes to read the newspaper, "she explained.

Curtis spent a year at the Cooma Correctional Center before his release in June 2018. The former banker was found guilty of conspiracy to commit an insider hit.

In an interview broadcast this weekend, Jacenko told the Sunday night program that she "became rogue" after Curtis is gone.

"I think I started living very fast as soon as Ollie went to jail, which is fast," said Sweaty owner Betty. "And it was too much to drink and consume things that I should not have consumed … I had become a thug, basically.

"I went out and went home at any time in the morning, I almost lost my marbles."

Jacenko and Curtis got married in 2012 and to share two children: Pixie, 6 years old and Hunter, 4 years old.
