Much to the surprise of virtually no one, Tony Tony's album "Springsteen on Broadway" will be released on December 14th. The autobiographical show, which runs regularly since October 2017, ends on December 15, after 236 performances scheduled, all at the Walter Kerr Theater. The next night will see the premiere of a special Netflix broadcast, announced in July. The album contains 16 songs, one more than the set of 15 songs that he played on most dates, but drops the 2005 song "Long Walk Home," played most evenings (list of tracks below).
A version of "The country of hope and dreams" of the album was released Friday morning.
