Nvidia remains discreet on next-generation GeForce graphics cards
An email from NVIDIA LEAKED has "confirmed" that the company's next GeForce GTX 1180 GPU will be released on August 30
The email, supposedly between an Nvidia GPU partner and a dealer. was broadcast by YouTube channel Gamer Meld, with the missive showing the release schedule of Nvidia's next-generation graphics cards, based on the Turing architecture.
According to the e-mail, what could possibly be the top … The GeForce GTX 1180, the GPU of the series '11 -series', will debut at the end of August. Then, on September 30, the slightly smaller GTX 1170 will debut, followed by the more traditional GTX 1160 on October 30th.
It should be noted that these dates are "planned release dates" so nothing is etched in stone, or should it be silicon. But the dates seem to follow rumors that the next generation of Nvidia graphics cards will be unveiled in August at Gamescom 2018.
The e-mail also mentions that a GTX 1180+ will appear on September 30 , suggesting that there will be a premium or overclocked version of the top-dog GTX 1180 – which provides the nomenclature of the 11 series is indeed used by Nvidia, which seems to be pretty safe given all the rumors we have spied.
Nvidia's founder and general manager Jensen Huang said the next wave of Nvidia graphics cars would not be revealed for "a long time"; he said that in July. So, either the boss dressed in a leather jacket practiced a directional error, or two months, it is long for him; Nvidia is very busy, so we would not be surprised if the weather seems a little different.
We have high hopes for the Nvidia Series 11 GPUs, all the more so as they will need the power to push the pixels. to Nvidia's 4K HDR certified screens, which require a serious graphic grunt to get the most out of them. μ
