Timothee Chalamet has lined up his next concert. The Oscar-nominated actor is in negotiations to play in Legendary's Dune.

Denis Villenueve, who directed "Blade Runner: 2049" and "Arrival", is a screenplay by Eric Roth. Legendary reached an agreement with the Frank Herbert estate in 2016 for its iconic novel, granting the studios rights not only on movies, but also on television projects on the science fiction property.

The projects will be produced by Villeneuve, Mary Parent and Cale Boyter, with Brian Herbert, Byron Merritt, Thomas Tull and Kim Herbert as Executive Producers. Kevin J. Anderson will serve as creative consultant

In the distant future, "Dune" follows Paul Atreides, whose family badumes control of the desert planet Arrakis. As the only producer of a valuable resource, jurisdiction over Arrakis is disputed among competing noble families. After the betrayal of Paul and his family, history explores the themes of politics, religion and the relationship of man to nature, while Paul leads a rebellion to restore the reign of his family.

Chalamet plays a role in Oscar-nominated films "Call me by your name" and "Lady Bird". He also has "Beautiful Boy" with Steve Carell in the works.

He is re-employed by UTA.
