Today Today correspondent Brooke Boney arrives at Richard Wilkins Cremorne

Accessorized with an oversized tote bag and black sandals, the former Triple J host was greeted by Richard's son, Christian, on the doorstep, before disappearing into the house where Richard l & # 39; 39; waiting.

Brooke was supposed to be inside the house for some time in what was probably a very clumsy meeting.

Richard, who will be redeployed into the Today Extra Second Level show, will remain as entertainment publisher at Nine, while Brooke will join the Today show as an entertainment journalist.

The news of Brooke's appointment on the Today show was confirmed Friday by Channel Nine's national news and current affairs director, Darren Wick.

Richard's downgrade occurs after the anchor of today's show Karl Stefanovic, 44, was banned from the Channel Nine breakfast program on Wednesday.

And his dismissal took place less than 24 hours after his brother Peter, 37, was completely removed from the network.
