Sebastian Vettel clinched pole position at the German Grand Prix during a dramatic qualifying session that saw Lewis Hamilton leave the session prematurely.
Vettel's last lap ensured him pole ahead of Valtteri Bottas and Ferrari teammate Kimi Raikkonen
