The fight was close during the first six rounds. In fact, many observers have seen Bellew win half of the fight. In the seventh round, Usyk began to make progress, winning more combinations. Bellew's pace slowed and he did not slip the suits as he did in the first few rounds.
In the eighth round, a hard right hand knocked out Bellew, forcing him into the ropes. Usyk followed calmly with a vicious combination. A left hook left Bellew flat on his back, his head half hanging from the ring. Here's a look at the finish:

Tony Bellew's accessories, he was as cunning and difficult for Usyk as I thought. Accessories to Usyk for knocking out a hardened and experienced veteran who, in my opinion, would take him far. #boxing #UsykBellew

Oleksandr Usyk is a beast, fair play to @TonyBellew for having fought the best in the division and having played all the balls in his last fight, congratulations on a fantastic career, will now sail to the champion of the sunset #UsykBellew

Bellew seemed to point out that it was his last fight. The native of Liverpool had a remarkable career with success in several weight divisions. At the age of 36, he ran into one of the world's best book-to-book fighters, held on for a good while, but succumbed to youth, his talent and his superior power.
His retirement seems to fit, if he sticks to the decision, but in boxing, you never know.
Usyk ruled for two years on the featherweight division and clearly emerged as the best in the weight clbad. It's obvious, his next challenge is in the heavyweight division. He refused to confirm that Saturday night, but all the signs show it. With the likely end of heavyweight dominance, just like Terence Crawford, who won 140 pounds for the welterweight division and higher wages, Usyk will turn to opponents like Anthony Joshua, Deontay Wilder and / or Tyson Fury.
The 31-year-old is a bit small by today's heavyweight standards at 6 "3", but his skill level, athleticism and power intrigue the next level. "Soon we'll have the chance to see his He can continue his success as a heavyweight.
