Dillon's Richard Childress Racing teammate Daniel Hemric clocked the second fastest lap, with his No. 8 Chevrolet having a top speed of 180.078 mph. Practice leader Dillon was one of 14 drivers who tested the 2019 rule set at the Las Vegas Motor Speedway on January 31st and February 1st. Sunday's race marks the first race of 2019 with the full 2019 rules package.
