Milwaukee, Wis. (APA / DPA) – Harley-Davidson, known for its heavy machinery, wants to use a smaller model to expand its position in growing markets in Asia. The new model is part of a 2022 growth plan, with the Harley-Davidson reacting to declining sales. The group is also under pressure from US President Donald Trump.
Harley Davidson also announced its intention to become the market leader in the segment with its first electric motorcycle, the "LiveWire". "Livewire" is expected to be available from 2019 and should be accompanied by other electric models by 2022.
