The following athletes will participate in the giant slalom on Sunday (1st GM: 10h, 2nd EDT: 13h): Marcel Hirscher, Manuel Feller, Roland Leitinger, Philipp Schörghofer, Stefan Brennsteiner, Matthias Mayer, Johannes Strolz, Dominik Raschner, Daniel Meier and Magnus Walch.

Women's coach Jürgen Kriechbaum decided after the last training session for the following starters in giant slalom, on Saturday (1st DG: 10 am, 2.DG: 1 pm): Eva-Maria Brem, Stephanie Brunner, Franziska Gritsch, Ricarda Haaser, Katharina Linksberger, Nina Ortlieb, Stephanie Resch, Julia Scheib, Bernadette Schild, the Katharina troupe, Anna Veith.

With Roland Leitinger, Stefan Brennsteiner, Daniel Meier and Philipp Schörhofer, four athletes return to the World Cup after an injury. Schörghofer missed due to a knee injury throughout the 2017/18 season. The Salzburg wanted to celebrate its return to the Olympics, but shortly before the race in Yongpyong, the decision was made.

Veith returns to Sölden
