Just over three weeks ago, Microsoft released concrete information on the new "Project xCloud" game streaming service. While the system is still being tested, the Redmonder has now introduced a smartphone-optimized controller prototype.
According to Windows Central, it is simply a concept that researchers from Microsoft Research have printed with the help of a 3D printer. The controller presented in the design consists of two parts that can be anchored on both sides of a smartphone or tablet. The two halves can also be connected to a charging station. The device is powered by a USB type C plug.
