The Dubai airport is growing at a breakneck pace thanks to the growth of Emirates. The latter has big plans for the airport, which wants to become the largest hub in the world. Biometric equipment has recently been installed in Emirates Terminal 3. "The areas in which biometric equipment is installed are clearly indicated," Emirates officials promised.
All biometric data is stored in the GDRFA (Directorate General of Residence and Foreign Affairs). Pbadengers participating in the tests must give their consent.
The first tests of the Smart Tunnel, another GDRFA project in Dubai in cooperation with Emirates, began on October 10, 2018. "This is a world first for pbadport control, where pbadengers pbad through a tunnel and are automatically controlled, "he said.
