A vacuum cleaner develops an electric car

VIENNA. Dyson launches its own electronic vehicle in 2021 – the car is under construction in Singapore.

The British company Dyson, founded in 1993 by James Dyson, with its bagless vacuum cleaners, was world famous. Meanwhile, the English have also put on the market hair dryers, dehumidifiers, hand dryers and fans. Dyson itself has evolved into a global technology company with research and test laboratories in Malaysia, Singapore, the Philippines and the United Kingdom. The British employ more than 12,000 people worldwide, including 4,500 engineers and scientists.

Currently, 400 technicians are working on the former Hullavington Airfield airbase in the UK to develop an electric car that will be launched in 2021. Singapore is currently developing its own factory, where the electric vehicle will be produced. The rooms are expected to be completed by 2020.

"The decision to build our vehicle was extremely complex and was based on a variety of factors: supply chains, market access and available expertise to help us achieve our goals," said Jim Rowan, CEO of Dyson. To date, Singapore has already built 50 million high-speed Dyson engines for vacuums, fans, etc.
