The Apple AirPods were able to convince the testers of Stiftung Warentest to test 18 Bluetooth headsets. The Cupertino buttons won first by their price-quality ratio.
This is already a message of some rarity: Apple products are still being evaluated by the Stiftung Warentest in a very surprising way. Sometimes, they are far ahead and then severely punished incomprehensibly somewhere in the low ground, if the tests are also slightly balanced.
The Apple AirPods have won a ranking. The testers evaluated a total of 18 Bluetooth headphones.
But it is surprising to see how the AirPods came to their first place.

If it's hard to say one thing about Apple products, their price is particularly reasonable. That's why it's surprising that the AirPods have been able to win real wireless headsets. But they were on tested properties such as sound quality (55%), comfort (25%) and Bluetooth properties on the same properties as the Bose SoundSport Free Wireless, but were less expensive than that.

The second surprise follows with the Bluetooth headphones with cable. That's where Bose SoundSport Wireless comes first, followed by Apple's PowerBeats3 Wireless.
But the AirPods will not be upgraded until next year. The presentation of a revised model again during the October keynote address is unlikely.
