British referee David McNamara certainly did not think that a forgotten play could be his destiny.

In a ladies match in Super League, the referee has no room for the selection of sides with. But McNamara is creative: he lets captains Steph Houghton (Manchester City) and Kirsty Pearce (Reading) play in the blink of an eye.

With "scissors, stone, paper" leads the arbitrator to a decision in the choice of place.

FA reacts humorlessly

The British Football Association (FA) does not react to the referee's action with British humor, but temporarily withdraws it.

McNamara was suspended for three weeks.

He did not act "in the best interest of the game". With these words, the FA justified the punishment Tuesday night. As a solution in the sense that the FA heard, there was no opinion of the badociation.
