Bankruptcy of Waagner-Biro – sale of stage equipment next week

Vienna (APA) – Sales are ongoing in the group of insolvent manufacturer Waagner-Biro. For the section on the technology of the scene, it should be next week, says the administrator of the insolvency.

Even before the Waagner-Biro group's stage technology subsidiary threatened to go bankrupt due to the insolvency of the other parts of the group, Austrian reorganizer Erhard Grossnigg made an offer for the technology company Austria Stage Systems. According to "press", there is a competitor, but the chance of Grossniggs to win the contract is considered very big. "I want to close the sale next week," said Romana Weber-Wilfert, Insolvency Administrator of Waagner-Biro AG, in a newspaper.

The sale of the bridge building subsidiary (Waagner-Biro Bridge Systems AG), insolvent since last Friday, is also going ahead. For the short offer period until December 7.
