In the ZDF show "Bares for Rares", amateur junkers want to bring their old Dachbodenschätzchen as profitable as possible to the dealer. In antiquity, the candidate Maria of Los Angeles Wahlig now Horst lights and ZDF experts presented, the host, but could hardly keep for him – and he tried to rattle her heat.
But when Horst turns on the stove, the fuses burn. The pbadionate chef wants to have the device for himself.
"I love something like this and I could go right now," enthuses Horst Lichter.
Even the expert Wendela Horz likes this antique very well. "A nice warming system, very attentive, I love it!"
But what is a stove? A stove keeps foods and drinks warm and can even warm them up.
Horst Lichter is already completely different with his thoughts and sees himself as a feast – with Wendela Horz.
"We can meet for a cook, Wendela! I would make a nice venison with a sauce top," tries the moderator.
This does not really strike the generous offer.
Ancient delighted everyone
The expert estimates that the table device, dating from 1853, is between 600 and 800 euros. This far exceeds Maria Wahlig's expectations. She had hoped 300 euros.
Dealers also seem to be enthusiastic. "So, I would like to invite you to dinner," rejoices Daniel Meyer. This can win with its offer of 650 euros, the unique antique for themselves.
Maria Wahlig is happy with the sale and can go home.

"Bares for Rares" is broadcast since 2013 on ZDF. Moderator Horst Lichter is the organizer of the garbage show where attendees present their antiques, their rarities and their curiosities and, ideally, win a nice sum through a sale.
Since 2013, the show, produced in Cologne, has aired in the afternoon of ZDF and has become a real guarantor of quota. From Monday to Friday, an average of three million viewers negotiate and act.

The candidates, along with their sales items, are sent to an expert who can check the goods, tell them something about the story, and then give an estimate of the price range in which the sales value lies.
If this amount is close to the price expectations of participants, they will receive the Lichter moderator's merchant card. This is the ticket for the room where the antique dealers are.
There are the candidates and the subject before. Similar to an auction, the five dealers then try to secure the exhibition by themselves. This can lead to an unexpected increase in the sum.
Then, it belongs to the supplier, if he wishes to accept the sum of traders or to haggle. If the highest bidder receives the offer, he pays the cash amount to the seller.
The highest bid up to now
In addition to the clbadic edition, many special editions have already been produced. So there were already celebrity numbers, dealer duels, a prime-time show on ZDF called "The greatest junk show in Germany".
Moreover, the highest bid to date was 35,000 euros. In 2014, a Borgward Isabella Cabriolet changed hands.
