In MDax's medium-sized businesses, CEOs received an average of 2.8 million euros, about the same level as the year before. Significant losses of a good 20 percent had to accept the claims of the drivers of the TechDax 30 companies. They earned an average of just under 1.9 million euros. CEOs of SDax companies rose to 1.2 million – in 2016, they were just under 1.4 million euros.
