From October 21 to November 4, at the Jewish Film Festival, the Jewish community of Frankfurt will offer a varied program of exciting feature films, surprising upcoming films and international blockbusters.
For the first time, the Jewish community will show its own virtual reality production. Many of the films presented are previews or exclusive previews, to which the creators of the films will be personally present. High caliber opening
The starting signal will be given on Sunday, October 21 with two highlights: It opens on a taste of "The Cakemaker" – a sensual film that takes place between Berlin and Jerusalem and discusses the pbadion, the mistrust and preservation of secrets. Director Ofir Raul Graizer answers questions from the cinema audience.
Then comes the premiere of the German film "The wife of the director of the zoo" with Hollywood stars Jessica Chastain and Daniel Brühl. It is the captivating and fact-based rescue of hundreds of Jews from the Warsaw ghetto.
