VIENNA. Opel has transferred its high roof combination to the Berlingo platform and is driving it well – from 21,000 euros.

When Opel launched the combo on the market in 1986, the car resembled that of Renault and Citroën: pbadenger cars, behind a well-filled box. Somehow misshapen, but also extremely practical. At that time, the car was on the cadet platform. Later, Rüsselsheimer moved to Fiat (Doblò) before lightning strikes PSA. Since then, his brothers call Citroën Berlingo and Peugeot Rifter (formerly badociates).

The combo is the utility vehicle, the Combo Life is like a car. And in short or long version (4.40 or 4.75 meters), in version five or seven places. The first versions combined, like the new brothers Berlingo and Rifter, were designed for an extremely low entry price. As a result, Spartan was the list of equipment. Today, such a modest model would probably be unsaleable. That's why Combo Life also offers what the PSA shelf offers. Head-up display, automatic collision alert and pedestrian detection, forward collision alert, Lane Departure Warning and Lane Departure Warning, Adaptive Cruise Control (ACC), Panoramic Vision Camera, Automatic Park Assist ( self-direction) or fatigue detection. Flank Guard is new in the Opel portfolio. The system, consisting of twelve sensors, warns when maneuvering in the low speed range that one side of the vehicle could hit or hit an obstacle (pillars, walls, etc.).
