Last weekend, the U18 / U21 European Championships at Jiu Jitsu were held in Bologna, Italy.

Burgenland was also represented in Tuscany and, as always, was able to celebrate many successes. From Jiu Jitsu club "Vila Vita Pannonia" Wallern, three athletes fought for the best places. Lisa Fuhrmann, Anna Fuhrmann and Laura Schmidt were at the start of the European Championship.

Lisa Fuhrmann won the bronze medal in combat (U18, weighing up to 63 kg) and the rally Ne waza (U18, weighing up to 63 kg). Anna Fuhrmann has also pioneered her way to the podium, she also finished third in the fight competition (under 21, up to 55 kg) and got the bronze medal.

Julia Blawisch, of the Bruckneudorf Dragonfighters, also won one of the medals in Italy, winning bronze.

In the Ne waza, she unfortunately had to stop the race because of an injury. In addition, Laura Schmidt finished after her long injury in ninth place of the U21 clbad (up to 62 kg).

Julia Blawisch of the martial arts club Dragonfighters Bruckneudorf has faced her opponents in two categories.

On Saturday, she was able to show her strength in the combat system and gave up only the final winner. Also Sunday, in the Ne waza system, she was able to score thanks to good techniques. Finally, Julia Blawisch was happy because she crowned her first two bronze medals at the European Championship.
