A farewell tour, a book and a last soundtrack: the legendary film music composer Ennio Morricone celebrates 90 years, but does not take a break. The legendary musician, who has composed more than 500 scores for film and television, still has many upcoming appointments.

Next week, the Roman Maestro will begin his last tour under the slogan "The Farewell Tour". With that, he wants to celebrate his farewell to the concert scenes of the world. Performances are planned in Moscow, Paris, London, Berlin and Budapest. "Making my works live for people of different generations and backgrounds is a good thing," says Morricone.

The conductor has composed music in recent decades

Morricone has been honored dozens of times for his achievements.
