Chelsea's Premier League rival Arsenal beat Sporting 1-0 (0-0). Danny Welbeck (78) scored the goal of the third victory of the European League in the third game for the Gunners. It was the eleventh consecutive success of all competitions. Mesut Özil paused three days after his gala match against Leicester City, Bernd Leno did not have much to do in goal.

Sevilla FC – Akhisar Belediyespor 6: 0 (3: 0)

Sevilla FC have scored six goals at home against Akhisar Belediyespor. Sevilla players Roque Mesa (7th), Pablo Sarabia (9th), Luis Muriel (50th), Quincy Promes (60) and Gabriel Mercado (67) scored the goals in their third victory in the European League match. Milan Lukac added a goal against his side (35 in).

Olympique Marseille – Lazio 1: 3 (0: 1)

Lazio have won 3-1 at Olympique de Marseille (1-0) and are now three points behind leaders Eintracht Frankfurt. Wallace in the tenth minute, Felipe Caicedo (59) and Adam Marusic (90) met for Rome. Dimitri Payet scored the intermediate goal (86.) for the French.
