The DSDS team currently has roles at Lochau's Kaiserstrand and the four-member jury chaired by Dieter Bohlen is looking for new talent.

For five days, the judges and the DSDS team will be spending time in Bodensee looking for new talent. But what does it look like behind the scenes? How big is the team that came to Lake Constance? How many candidates are chosen and how many cameras are needed to get all the scenes in the box? We have summarized for you five interesting facts about the DSDS team.

1. Size of the team

So that everything goes well, a total of 100 people are in post.

2. candidates

The DSDS team crisscrosses Germany and Vorarlberg in search of new vocal talents. In total, 320 candidates will be chosen by the jury. More than 100 candidates appear on the four days at Lochau.

3. cameras

21 cameras are used to get all the scenes in the box.

4. Technical equipment

2 terabytes of data are recorded per day. A total of 80 projectors and lamps were installed and 1,000 meters of technological cables laid. In addition, 500 meters of electric cables are in operation.

5. Coffee consumption

No coffee is not good. So also with the DSDS team. The coffee machine is running at full speed. The crew consumes 8 kg of coffee beans a day.
