Enthusiastic Croatians Celebrate the finalists [19659008] H Thousands of French enthusiastically welcomed the world champions in Paris: at a huge victory parade, the heroes of the national team drove Monday night in a blue bus with the upper deck open on the Champs-Elysées. Subsequently, President Emmanuel Macron received the players of the Elysee. Meanwhile, half a million people were celebrating the vice-world champion in Croatia

On the Parisian boulevard of the Champs-Elysees everything was steeped in the colors blue-white-red – flags, hats, jerseys and faces painted enthusiastic fans. In the bus titled "World Champion", football stars handed the winner trophy from one player to the other and jumped and danced up and down. Above the crowd, nine fighter-bombers with colored smoke were firing the blue-white-red French flag in the sky.

According to police estimates, about 300,000 people have invaded the Paris boulevard. The parade was carried out by a large contingent of police forces.

During the parade, footballers wore two-star T-shirts with the inscription "World Champion" – the players appeared in awe before President Macron at the Palace of the Elysee blue suits. Macron thanked the team for his performance and called the players, "Stay as you are!" Macron and his wife Brigitte pose with the players for the cameras and sing the national anthem together.

Nearly 3,000 guests came to the gardens of the Elysee, including many teenagers. The youth club, in which 19-year-old striker Kylian Mbappé started, celebrated with the president and the world champions. Captain Hugo Lloris also let the young people touch the cup.

Striker Antoine Griezmann said: "We are trying to make a good impression of France for French players." He hopes that many young people have seen the game and would do the same

A few hours earlier, players and coaches Didier Deschamps had returned from Russia and welcomed by an enthusiastic crowd at Paris Roissy airport. The afternoon has been announced that players should be included in the French Honor Legion. Macron will offer players of the national team the highest level of merit in the country, said the Elysee. As further proof of honor, six Paris subway stations have been temporarily renamed for the world champions.

Major incidents at the Victory Celebrations were canceled Monday. However, disappointed by the absence of the team on the balcony of a Parisian palace, supporters threw tanks in the evening. The Place de la Concorde was then cleaned up, as reported by an AFP photographer.

Previously, there were riots in several French cities on Monday night after the World Cup victory in the final against Croatia. Nearly 300 people were detained throughout the country.

In Croatia, hundreds of thousands of supporters received vice-world cup on Monday. Police said that nearly 550,000 people in the capital, Zagreb, were encouraging the team while they were driving in an open bus between the airport and the city center.
