The Vienna Film Fund announced a series of grants, including a series that has already been speculated on: "Freud". As reported by the press magazines, for the eight-part thriller series in which a young Sigmund Freud hunt down a serial killer through a sinister Vienna in the late 19th century, not only the ORF but also the giant Netflix streaming are on board. According to the German industrial media, the ORF will present the series exclusively in Austria, but Netflix will take over internationally – the ORF confirms the cooperation present after the summer. For Netflix, it is not only the first co-production with the ORF, but also the next German series after "Dark".

Total 14 projects received pledges and funds totaling 1.87 million euros were awarded.
