Google: great innovation in the Play Store

G oogle is known for experimenting with new designs and user interfaces, as these updates are only initially available for some users, it is easy to reverse the changes in case of negative comments. Now, the Internet giant has secretly released an update of the Play Store, which reshuffles the search function.

Anyone who has entered a term in the search bar in previous versions of the Play Store is familiar with the design at the # 39 old: Almost never Pressing, a vertical map view opens with the search results. The applications listed here are similar in their presentation and appear next to a symbol or a thumbnail on the left edge of the developer's name and a note. With the latest design update, Google updates the general overview: The cards give way to a modified presentation, which focuses on the first result with screenshots and buttons. action. Among other things, it is possible to install applications directly from the search results. Suggestions for similar programs can be found below the top application. Former veterans are already familiar with the presentation of the direct store pages. However, some members of the XDA Developer Forum criticize the changes: they complain that highlighting the first search result is moving small applications.

Google Play Store: Improved Search

Search function has changed: For obvious spelling errors, the latest version of the Play Store automatically suggests the following. correct spelling (see photo above, right section). If the application is incorrect with such a suggestion, the researchers arrive at their result by simply typing on the original spelling. To determine if the update is also available on your smartphone, enter the name of a program such as Google Chrome in the search bar and confirm.
