In the first half of the year, Austrian Airlines had about 6.4 million pbadengers. In direct comparison with the same period of the previous year, this corresponds to an increase of 9.8%. The measured available seat-kilometers (ASK) offer was increased from 4.9% to just under 12.9 billion. In total, Austria has sold more than 9.8 billion square kilometers (PKP), an increase of 8.1% over the same period last year. Capacity utilization increased 2.3 percentage points to 75.8%.

"Our additional B777 increased the number of pbadengers in June, and in addition to our encouraging continental development, we also scored points in intercontinental traffic, for example with the Tokyo revival," said Andreas Otto.

In June of this year, the AUA had about 1.4 million travelers. Compared to the same month of last year, this represents an increase of 10.1%. The offer was extended from 7.7% to 2.7 billion seat-kilometers available. Of this total, 2.2 billion was sold, which corresponds to an improvement of 11.9%. The use is reported at 81.5%, an increase of 3.1 percentage points. The number of flights increased by six percent to reach 13,979 flights in June 2018 compared to June of the previous year.
