The ZDF celebrates the 70th anniversary of Otto Waalkes with a documentary filled with excerpts from the work of Ostfriesen
It may not be believed. But it's true: Otto Waalkes is already 70 years old – and ZDF is celebrating this important anniversary with a very special program. In "Geheimakte Otto Waalkes – Harry Hirsch in Search of Clues", the broadcaster of Mainz proposes to unveil where the bluff bard, musician, comedian, actor and artist has come for generations. And more importantly, the public service channel wants to reveal to the world what is the secret of Otto's success.
ZDF broadcasts legendary investigative journalist Harry Hirsch on the dike in this special program moderated by history expert Guido Knopp. Places that have influenced Otto Waalkes can look for clues. In addition, he conducts exclusive and explosive interviews with former Otto comrades such as the little actor Speedy or Sloth Sid as well as with serious experts like Commissioner Lucas.
