Unboxing and First Impressions
This will be a short paragraph. The ribbons are supplied in a black, non-spectacular plastic package and are easy to remove. One thing stands out: they are extremely soft and flexible. This is not a comparison with the Apple Nylon Bracelet. The Bluestein Watchpop can be compressed properly and feels almost fluffy.
And the smell is convincing to the extent that it is virtually non-existent. Unlike China's cheap alternatives, nothing here feels artificial, so you should fear a rash after the first few minutes. First impression: Tiptop! High quality, comfortable and chic.
The Design
The watchpop bracelet is made of black nylon with colored side seams and black connectors. Side seams are available in white, blue, red, black, yellow and dark green. A special version is also available with white nylon and black side seams. We had to test and find all the nuances quite well done. There is something for every occasion and taste. Our favorite is the red and blue group. You can see all the images embedded here in the article. We think the design is very successful. And it's surprisingly striking: I wore it for the first time directly by several people addressed. Most of them immediately gave their opinion on the color.
The group does a very simple job: wrap it around the arm and attach it with Velcro anywhere. Velcro strips are absolutely outstanding treated and maintained! Even after prolonged wear, nothing slips or begins to open. Bluestein is literally living up to his promises
By the way, nylons and connectors are really on the point. Everything sits, slides clean and pulls no string. You do not get stuck in the objects of everyday life either.
Comfort
The Watchpop is beautiful and looks pretty chic. But how does it feel? This is probably one of the most important features of an Apple Watch bracelet. Well, it is clearly not here a bracelet to wear with a suit. But we do not want to spread fashion advice: it integrates perfectly into daily comfort, for work inside and outside, for certain sports and of course for leisure, almost 95% of the time. And it's great.
In fact, it is the most comfortable bracelet I've ever had on my arm. He is so incredibly light and sweet that we only perceive subconsciously. Due to the continuous adjustment of the length, it really adapts to every situation and every arm. And you can adjust it in seconds. However, it is not very well suited for intense sports, in which you sweat a little. Sweating and warmth are not a problem and the band is also quite resistant to perspiration and water. However, it transpires quite easily under the nylon and this creates an unpleasant pecking sensation.
Overall, however, I like wearing comfort very well.
Criticism
There is no perfection, is not it? Of course, this product is not perfect either. Therefore, there are still some negatives that do not necessarily have to be the same for everyone:
I can not think of much because I really like the band. However, I must admit that it's relatively thick, because of the curl that is forming. This can be a bit uncomfortable when worn under a sweater or long-sleeved shirt. So you should wear it outside. The loop still has the habit of getting used to the character. At first I was a little skeptical because the loop is sometimes bigger when worn for a long time. However, I got used to the look now.
Conclusion
The essential is that for (currently) half the price of the Apple Nylon Band with the Bluestein Watchpop is more pleasant, more comfortable and cheaper bracelet .
