American actor Alec Baldwin was arrested in New York for hitting a man in the face. The 60-year-old was arrested Friday in Manhattan, police sources said. The other man was injured in the left cheek.
According to US media reports, Baldwin has been arguing over a parking lot. The investigation was ongoing, said a police spokesman.
Baldwin became famous in such films as "Hunt for Red October" and the television series "30 Rock", as well as in his humming to US President Donald Trump in the satire show "Saturday Night Live".
Trump was approached Friday by journalists during his arrest. The President paused for a moment and then said, "I wish him good luck."
