Bernd Ulrich: Of course, our women who accompany us throughout the year. We are always together and we understand each other blindly. That's the most important thing we can rely on each other. Is there anything better than telling you the partner, "Are you more than pure gold for me?"
Is this song also your favorite song on the album?
Ulrich: We heard in the past again and again. Our answer was then: "All songs are our favorite songs, otherwise they would not have been on the record." But this time it's different. I spoke to Karl-Heinz about this today. My personal favorite is "Rio Grande". We sing on the river, vacations and adventure trips. I particularly like the style of the title.
The lyrics were also written by authors on the new album. Have you missed any ideas?
Ulrich: Until a few years ago, we wrote all the tracks ourselves, but after so many songs we needed new ideas. That's why we had support. But we did not miss any ideas – on the contrary: we have the ideas. We travel a lot and go through life with eyes open, talking to fans. Sometimes we take words or phrases that form the foundation of the next title
Have you always had your say?
Ulrich: My brother and I, and Michael Dorth, with whom we have been for more than ten years Working together for years, which we also call the third Amigo, has the last word. We three decide texts. As no record companies speak, we have made it clear. After all, we are the ones who have to go on stage and bring back the song. This is only possible if we are 100% behind. We have just talked to Michael about the record for 2019. We are already thinking about it now, otherwise it is not possible

Since 2007, you have released a new album a year and completed about 150 appearances. How do you handle it?
Ulrich: We eat reasonably and do not drink alcohol. Our work is lively and very entertaining. We do not have time for the sport. Neither between performances, nor at home, where work is waiting for you on the desk.
On August 25, you will play for the first time on the Schiffenberg as part of Kultursommers. What can fans expect from you?
Ulrich: We are playing our new program and Disco Fox dancers are getting their money's worth. We are very happy. This is a hammer site.
