Tatiana Lecomte: "Connection"
The series of commemorative year exhibitions in museums Linz enters its final phase. To date, the Linzer Kunstmuseum Lentos presents the exhibition "Anschluss" by Tatiana Lecomte, born in France and living in Austria.
The show in the basement of the house is divided into two rooms. The first contains the illustrated texts, the second the historical photographic material of the state archives, the city of Linz and the artist. You can also see the short film "A mrderischer Lrm" on the member of the French Resistance Jean-Jacques Boijentin. The man was deported to the Gusen II Concentration Camp and survived as an electrician working on human noise during the construction of an underground aircraft factory.
The black and white photographic material around 1938 was condensed on 29 plates. Lecomte shows, among other things, images of the fire of the Linz synagogue of November 10, 1938, of Hitler's chamber in the former hotel Linz Weinzinger or the controversial Aphrodite on the Bauernberg Linz.
The exhibition "Anschluss" by Tatiana Lecomte is visible until January 6 at the Kunstmuseum Lentos.
