A British militant of the Islamic State's (IS) terrorist militia was jailed for at least 25 years for, among other things, calling for a terrorist attack on Little Prince George. Husnain Raschid had shared a picture of the school's four-year address and his school in a news app to provide "appropriate targets" for a "lone wolf" attack.
Judge Andrew Lees said at the rally on Friday. The London court sentenced the 32-year-old man to life imprisonment for preparing a terrorist offense, but at least 25 years in prison.
Raschid had uploaded a photo of the school in October, the son of William and Kate visited a few weeks. "Even the royal family is not left alone," he writes in the photo. And: "The school starts earlier." The message was clear, Lees said: Prince George and other members of the Royal Family should be recognized as potential targets.
"Lone Wolves" are individuals who radicalize on the Internet without having direct contact with extremist organizations such as the SI. The British accused had already been calling for the attack already.
He also reportedly called for attacks with poisoned ice and attacks on football stadiums. In addition, he wanted to travel to Syria and join the IS. He has also worked according to the prosecution on an online magazine with tips for potential people planning attacks. The unemployed web designer was arrested last November.
