Manchester – English champions Manchester City have won the derby against Manchester United champions. The undefeated team of this season, coach Pep Guardiola, won 3-1 (1-0) Sunday night against local rivals. City remains at the top of the standings and is two points ahead of Liverpool FC, second.
David Silva (12th minute), Sergio Aguero (48th) and Ikay Gundogan (86th) scored in their own stadium the goals for the leading riders. Anthony Martial inflicted a penalty in the 58th minute to United after the attack by forward Romelu Lukaku by goalkeeper Ederson. Both teams had to do without their injured midfielders.
