The TV producer will lead in the future the entertainment activities of the private broadcaster in Salzburg
Martin Gastinger, long-time CEO of ATV Private Television, becomes the new Head of Entertainment for Servus TV. This confirmed the Salzburger transmitter against TV-MEDIA on Monday afternoon.
Gastinger had applied for the same position within the ORF, but the audition of the candidate last Wednesday apparently would not have taken place anymore. Employment in Salzburg has already begun on 1 December.
Gastinger's career began at Ö3, directed by AT Media, via the German media companies Premiere, and Beate Uhse TV 2007, where he moved from program director in 2013 to managing director. After selling ATV to the group PRO 7 / SAT.1 / PULS 4, he joined Christian W. Mucha's media group and returned to television.
