"Mission Impossible: Fallout" takes surprising turns, which in some cases means you can not always completely follow the plot. While trying to clarify who has just been betrayed by whom, already begins the next action sequence. Spectacular scenes like the parachute jump, in which Hunt crushes a plane into a raging storm, remain permanently in the public's memory. Particularly noteworthy are the dynamic camera shots that carry fast action without becoming too hectic.
But the film has more to offer than a simple series of unexpected action sequences and twists. Ethan Hunt strives to fulfill his missions without sacrificing anything. Already at the beginning of the film, he could have taken the plutonium kits and the threat was over. But the life of his teammate takes precedence.
Hunt's policy of avoiding casualties at all costs is what brings him back to his work as an IMF official. For this, he even separated from his wife Julia (Michelle Monaghan), so that she was not endangered by her work. The character of Ethan Hunt receives through this aspect a little more depth and realism.
