[ad_1]

Thirty years ago, Karl Ritter became part of the group "Ostbahn-Kurti & the Chiefs". The guitarist still loves improvisation and still plays with Willi Resetarits aka Kurt Ostbahn

Those who are interested can now learn more about the life of Karl Ritters. The movie "Guitar Driver", which launches this week, is all about one thing:
Music. "The rest is about my life," Ritter laughs. Even companions such as accordionist Otto Lechner and Knight's wife have their say.

The Stockerauer's musical path began when he had a violin at the age of six. "I did not train, but I played right away." So he started improvising on his instrument at a young age. However, Ritter soon goes on guitar

"I can only eat potatoes for a month too"

The musician wanted to go to the conservatory, but his father wanted him to learn something. "I chose electricians because I thought it had something to do with electric guitars," he recalls. For a few years, he stayed in the industry until he could make a living with theatrical music. Even when he was already playing with Kurt Ostbahn, Ritter's father showed him an electrician job offer. But the hedge has never been so important for the 58-year-old man: "I can only eat potatoes for a month."

Connected to Lower Austria, the father of two children does not live here only. He was Music Director of the Stockerau Festival for five years. This year without live music, but with his product by him. In the theater music we fill the clichés and support with the music the dramaturgy. "I do that with my possibilities, I love working with the language, it's also music and rhythm."

"The most beautiful thing is just playing a successful concert in front of people who like it, with the people you are on stage with and everything works fine If it has such a flow, you live! "That alone is an experience in itself," when you work with such people, where you get a lot of energy. "
