The Estonian opening film, "The Little Comrade", the first feature film by Monika Siimets, opens with a promise: "If you're a good boy, I'll be back soon," says the mother de Leelo (Helena Maria Reisner), aged 6, is deported to Siberia. But she never comes back. The drama is based on Leelo Tungal's hit novels.

Swedish director Ingmar Bergman devotes a retrospective to film days. His first feature film "Harbor City" from 1948 is presented. In the social drama, sailor Gösta (Bengt Eklund) and Berit (Nine-Christine Jönsson) meet in a dance bar. The first craze gives way to Berit, who tells his difficult past.

Director Jane Magnusson dedicates her documentary "Bergman – One Year, One Life" to Ingmar Bergman. This is about the year of Fate 1957, during which the director has transformed clbadics such as "Wild Strawberries" and "The Seventh Seal", worked in parallel to the theater and wrote the scenario of "The Silence".

Benedikt Erlingsson's "Against the Current" drama tells the story of Hella (Halldóra Geirharðsdóttir), a warm and strong woman who runs a choir in Iceland. Secretly, an environmental activist is fighting against the aluminum industry to preserve the unique nature and landscape of Iceland.

Kasper Kale's Danish historical film "Christian IV – The Last Journey" talks about the aging Danish king Christian IV (Baard Owe) who, in 1648, wants to find his former wife Kirsten Munk (Karen-Lise Mynster). A meeting rich in emotions.

Finnish director Klaus Härö's feature film "An Unknown Master" accompanies an art dealer (Heikki Nousiainen), who wants to make one last big transaction before retiring. Has he eventually discovered a legendary image exclusively?

Knallebunt and opulent is in "Ted – Alles aus Liebe" by Hannes Holm. The protagonist is Ted Gärdestad: a folk-pop singer who experienced a meteoric rise in Sweden in the 70s. Even in adolescence, Abba producers already mix for him and he releases his first single. But soon the family suffers under the glory – and Ted literally puts himself in the lead.

"Another Day of Life" describes the drama of the Angolan civil war of 1975 from the point of view of the legendary war reporter Ryszard Kapuscinski. The film by Raúl de la Fuente and Damian Nenow recounts the horrors and absurdities of the war, mixing animation sequences and current documentary interviews with companions of Kapuscinski's past. He is at the European Film Awards in the category "Best Animation Film" of the race.

Roy (Martin Brambach) and Bruno Singer (Ben Münchow) are part of Hermine Huntgeburth's "Deadly Comeback", a father-son team that could not be more different: while the thoroughbred musician Roy earns his money in illegal activities, Bruno works for the police, When Roy returns to Hamburg after years, Bruno is drawn into the world of crime. With his father, he must solve a murder.

In the "rebel" episode of "crime scene cleaner" by Arne Feldhusen, Schotty (Bjarne Mädel) receives the visit of his friends during the cleanup. This creates a strange debate about felt pads: Didi finds these strange things and has neither the time nor the desire to deal with such issues – but the time to complain about them.

Nordic Film Days offers a full program of documentaries. From Estonia, "14 cases" of the director Marianna Kaat. She has been accompanying Estonians born in Russia for four years with her camera, which feels very connected to her Russian culture – and who has difficulties with the 14 grammatical cases of the Estonian language.

Scandinavian TV series enjoy a fabulous reputation all over the world.
