INNER CITY / WIEDEN. For the ninth time, the popular Popfest on Karlsplatz will be open from 26 to 29 July. About sixty local musical acts are presented free of charge in various places of the Karlskirche. In addition to the maritime scene in front of the Karlskirche, the Vienna Museum, the Technical University and, this year, a new hall, the Akzent Theater will also be presented. For the program this year, curators, music journalist Katharina Seidler and musician Nino Mandl, better known as "The Nino from Vienna", are responsible.
