Berlin Rammstein wants to release a new album in the spring. In parallel, the rock band is planning a tour of the stadiums in Europe.

Rammstein has announced a "European stadium tour" for 2019. In Germany alone, nine appearances are scheduled from May to July, the MCT agency announced Friday. Advance ticket sales will start on Thursday, November 8 at 10 am

In September, the group announced for next spring its seventh studio album, still untitled. More recently, in 2009, the album "Love is for all over there" reached platinum status in Germany after only one week of sales.

The group is known for its brutal music and its carefully choreographed live concerts. With the stadium tour, it is preparing for the first time on an even bigger stage – in Germany in Gelsenkirchen, Munich, Dresden, Rostock, Berlin, Hanover and Frankfurt am Main. Some dates at a glance:

The tickets were exclusively personalized, so sold with the name of the concert visitor, the group said. Unauthorized dealer cards are not eligible.
