TARJA – almost touching in a studio, sometimes the big show at "Teatro della Luna Assago" in Milan
Live CDs are always such a thing. If I did not attend one of the concerts, I do not quite find that tingling. Live DVDs are already much better. This time, I had the pleasure of watching two very different shows on DVD
There was very intimate setting in the "Metropolis Studios" in London. Twenty winners of a draw have had the chance to experience TARJA closely and personally in a unique show. The picture is completely black and white and gives the set a special touch. Musically and technically, there is nothing to complain about. TARJA radiates with selected guests, makes jokes with fellow musicians and we really feel that she also loves this performance until the last minute. A unique concert and wonderfully successful
Then the contrast occurs at the second recording in Milan, in the "Teatro della Luna Assago". A huge explosive stage show with many light effects and video films on big screens, as TARJA knows. A completely transformed singer stands dazzling on the stage, which even puts accents with its beautiful matching outfits. An audience who does not sit long on the seats and who keeps getting up, singing, dancing, applauding and applauding. And rightly so. The show is just awesome. Again, the sound recording and the image are brilliant and you can understand the unique atmosphere of this show at home.
Even with the live CD, you can feel this incredible experience. But honestly: the DVDs are great! This should not miss a fan. As bonus material, there is also an interview with TARJA and various members of the group, as well as various photo galleries.
If you wish, you can also opt for a "Limited Media Book", because there are also two concerts: "Woodstock" (Poland) and "Hellfest" (Clisson in France). However, everything is available only in the form of Blu-ray.
Conclusion: I have seen Tarja several times, also at the very beginning of her solo career and I find that she has changed enormously. She has always had a very special stage presence, which she has developed over the years to her advantage. I sincerely hope to be able to attend one of their shows "Nordic Symphony 18" in autumn
