Roy Hargrove (1969 – 2018, "Brown") is dead. The famous jazz trumpetist died Friday night in New York at the age of 49. This has been confirmed by his longtime manager, Larry Clothier, on the talented musician's Facebook page. Hargrove had suffered a cardiac arrest as a result of a "brave fight" with kidney disease after complications. Hargrove leaves behind his wife Aida, daughter Kamala, mother Jacklyn and brother Brian.
