The Vienna National Opera, with Hans Swarowsky, pays tribute to one of the twentieth-century formative figures for the house with an exhibition. Under the title "Hans Swarowsky: conductor – conductor – pianist – translator – writer", photographs, documents or even articles in the media were collected, mainly documenting his varied work at the national opera.

Finally, the conductor, born in Budapest on September 16, 1899 and whose students included Claudio Abbado, Zubin Mehta or Mariss Jansons, was closely related to Haus am Ring. The reason for the show is the revised edition of Swarowsky's writings collected under the title "Preservation of the Gestalt". Until next January, interested persons will be able to visit the show to be held in the Marble Hall of Tonkünstler, who died in 1975, as part of a show.
