Supertalent 2018: the violinist Sebastiaan does not play a single song, the jury is completely stunned

A boy, a violin – of course, the Belgian Sebastiaan Kulwanowski (18) wants to prove his musical talents during the seventh episode of "Supertalent" (Saturday at 20:15 on RTL). But: he does not play a single song.

In any case, the astonishment within the trio of jurors is great, because the talented talented Sebastiaan enters the scene and explains that he "does not actually present any kind of music" on his violin.

Awesome special effects

Dieter Bohlen, Sylvie Meis and Bruce Darnell look confused. Then the young musician finally clarifies: "I'm mimicking the sound effects." Whether it's about everyday sounds or animals, the 18-year-old actually possesses a vast repertoire of awesome special effects (see video above) .

Cow, fire truck, alarm – while the violinist is gradually showing its effects, the jury is more and more enthusiastic. Even Dieter Bohlen's eyes are getting bigger and bigger. No wonder, with this crazy talent.

Bruce Darnell is skeptical: "I hate this instrument"

At the age of six, he starts playing the violin. "In fact, I wanted to learn the guitar, but the course was full so I enrolled in a violin clbad," Sebastiaan recalls from his debut.

For almost a year, he has been dedicated to reproducing the most intriguing sounds of his instrument – and celebrating his premiere on the Supertalent stage with this talent. Bruce Darnell fears him even before the show, because: "I hate this instrument."

Akrobatin dares great first

In addition, the jury was completely disconcerted: an acrobat wants to inspire with his tricks on a flywheel, several meters above the spectators.

"Floating directly above the audience, this was never the case with the super talent, which is why I wanted to try it," says swinging Lisa Rinne (30), acrobat from Cologne, before his performance. "It's a first for me too."

During her studies at the Academy of Circus and Performance Arts in Tilburg, the Netherlands, she discovered her pbadion for the pivoting trapeze that became Lisa's life.

With her partner Andreas Bartl, Lisa developed the show "Circus UnARTiq", with which she performs regularly.

Dieter Bohlen: "Can I stay here like this"?

In any case, Dieter Bohlen seems worried and uncertain about the enormous height of the trapeze: "Can you say roughly where you would fall, or can I stay here like this?", He asks Lisa.

Lisa describes her acrobatics as "a flirtation with weightlessness". She has already been awarded a gold medal at the European Youth Circus-Festival 2012.

Jury and moderation

The judges are Sylvie Meis, Bruce Darnell and Dieter Bohlen. "Das Supertalent" always takes place on Saturday evening at 8:15 pm. The shows in Berlin and Bremen are recorded.

This year also, the series of shows will be hosted by Daniel Hartwich. He accompanies the candidates behind the scenes, feverish with them and is at hand when dreams come true or burst.

That's how buzzers work

Extraordinary performances are judged by the three-headed jury. By pressing the green ringer, the juror shows that he likes the performance.

If an appearance does not please you, the jury can show it with the help of the red ring. With two red ringtones, the candidate dreams of the dream of super talent.

With the "Golden Buzzer", each juror has the opportunity, during individual cast castings, to cancel his fellow jurors and to promote a candidate directly to the finals.

Each member of the jury has twice the opportunity, so six finalists per season are chosen.

Decision and final

The candidates, who convinced the jury during the auditions, received a "star medal" and thus have the opportunity to participate again in a decision-making show before the final.

In the grand finale live, 12 candidates face each other.

In the final, it is up to the spectators alone to decide with their phone calls who deserves the title "Supertalent 2018" and therefore the price of € 100,000.
