Former ÖFB player Christoph Westerthaler died on Friday. His former club Wacker Innsbruck confirmed his death on Facebook and forgave the Westerthaler family. The Tyrolean died as a result at the age of 53 from the consequences of a heart attack.

Westerthaler was the last one until May as an badistant coach at a third Chinese division.
