After the GS and the RT a month ago at the Cologne Intermot, BMW now presents other R-1250 models at the Milan EICMA (11.11.2016) with the new boxer engine with two cylinders. In addition to the Roadster R and the RS of tourism, the new adventure version of the bestseller GS will also be presented.

All models have in common to increase the volume of just under 80 cubic centimeters, to reach 1.25 liters and 11 hp additional power (136 hp / 100 kW). The torque went from 125 Newton meters to 143 Nm, which resulted in 250 rpm. The Shift Cam technology allows to vary the timing and the lifting of the valves on the admission side of the heart of the new boxer. BMW promises smoother operation and lower fuel consumption.
The Adventure and the RS are equipped with LED headlights as standard, as well as LED daytime running lights for all models. The 6.5 inch color TFT connectivity display is also new. The range of different seat heights has been expanded, as the R is available for the first time in sport flying.
The BMW R 1250 GS Adventure will be available in December for a starting price of 17,700 euros. The R 1250 R follows in February for 13,750 euros and the RS in March for 14,400 euros.
